Waites Once Said, "I'd love to go drowning and to stay and to stay But the ocean doesn't want me today I'll go in up to here, it can't possibly hurt All they will find is my beer and my shirt The riptide is raging and the lifeguard is away But the ocean doesn't want me today" When you decide to ride close to the edge; You can pick the danger -- Perhaps it's a Tractor Trailer, the edge of a cliff, that side of the tracks, A rapid descent, pulling a skitch on the back of a school bus..., your choices were built to thrill, but may not be the most well planned. The edge brings a wash of excitement, risk, danger, and relief. Today I rode through a crashing wave which should have swept me to drown, Like a fool, but as he says, "the ocean doesn't want me today".
